![]() ![]() U/holasoysauce We left Ally Bank for their 1-2 hour wait times (just to get someone) and lack of answers on why Zelle keeps disabling for us. ![]() U/CynicalMiss I tried your solution, unfortunately it didn't work for me, but thanks for the suggestion. What the? An ONLINE bank takes a month to recognize a number? The customer service reps have no other solutions, no where to escalate, etc. My wife and I are having the same issue (only with my account) and the same response from Capital One support - they literally tell me it takes "up to 30 days for the system to trust a new phone number". Has anyone else had difficulties adding a joint holder to their CO360 account? Any insight into Capital One's phone number system and how to get it to recognize his phone number as a "trusted source?" We never had this issue listing him as a joint holder when we opened our local bank accounts, even though at that time he was a new immigrant to the US and didn't even have his green card or SSN yet. I am beyond frustrated at this point, and ready to just cancel these accounts and try with Ally or some other bank instead. So apparently there is nothing they can do about this except for wait until Capital One's magical hidden system decides that his number is a "verified source," and they have no idea how to make that happen or how long it might take. Apparently this happens sometimes when the phone number has been added to an account relatively recently, especially when the phone bill is under someone else's name (we have the same phone plan and it's under my name, not his). The latest excuse is that his phone number is listed on his account, but from their end, it doesn't have a star next to it verifying it as a "trusted source" or something like that. None of their representatives seem to have any idea how to fix this problem. I've called Capital One at least five times about this problem, and they keep offering me different excuses. But when I send him the joint account holder invitation for the 360 checking and savings accounts, it won't recognize his phone number, even though all the info on the invitation (his name, SSN, and phone number) matches. So now he has a Capital One account that he can log into online, with his phone number registered and everything, and it works fine. For most of that time, I was the primary account owner and he was an authorized user, but a few weeks ago (basically at the same time I opened the checking/savings accounts), I moved him to account manager and we set up his online access. For context: we've had a Capital One credit card for a few years. But I am finding it absolutely impossible to add my husband as a joint account holder on either of them. So a few weeks ago, I opened Capital One 360 checking and savings accounts, intending to migrate our money to these. ![]() My husband and I have joint bank accounts at a local bank, but we wanted to change to a national one with more ATMs and higher interest rates. The description usually includes the name of the vendor and a phone number, such as Target.Hope this post is acceptable here-I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience with this situation. Under the summary, you’ll find a list of each transaction, the date it was posted to the account, and a description. This includes a previous balance, a summary of each transaction category (e.g., deposits), and your new ending balance. You’ll see a detailed summary of your account activity at the top of your Capital One bank statement. Capital One indicates that you will need to enroll in paperless statements to view statements online or in the app. Once there, you’ll see “Statements,” which you’ll want to tap on. Tap the account name and then move down to the bottom of the page. If you prefer to use the mobile app, sign in and look for the account for which you want to view a statement. All you have to do is sign in, click on the account you want, and then choose “View Statements.” The process is really simple if you use the website. You can either use the bank’s mobile app or the website. As a customer, you have a few options to view your Capital One bank statement. ![]()
